UC Santa Cruz 2300 Delaware
Formerly a semiconductor fabrication facility for Texas Instruments, 2300 Delaware is comprised of a two-story, steel-framed office building and a one-story semi-conductor manufacturing plant. To aid University of California Santa Cruz in its decision to acquire the facility, Huntsman with a team of engineering consultants performed a due diligence that examined the architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical building systems and environmental conditions of the site. After purchasing the property, UC Santa Cruz then hired the team to design a seismic retrofit so the University could develop the 230,000gsf complex for office use and future laboratory space.
