Huntsman Architectural Group

The Walnut
Focused on sustainable development and reuse, this longtime client retained Huntsman to design interiors for a 34-unit Adaptive Reuse condominium conversion that introduces an entirely new property type to a prominent part of Boulder. A former office building was re-clad and an addition doubled its footprint. With expansive views of the Flatirons, The Walnut appeals to buyers who expect exceptional, comfortably modern architectural design within walking distance of everything the city has to offer.

Each of the thirty-four units has a unique floor plan, expansive windows, and outdoor space to take full advantage of the scenic Boulder environment. At the center of the complex is a tree-filled courtyard shared by all residents. Sustainability goals were achieved through reclaimed and renewable materials, as well as energy efficient systems and appliances.  With a goal of creating a community that would instantly become woven into the city’s fabric, The Walnut creates an urban yet approachable experience.
