Iris Chan and Karie Vagedes have been named Principals in the firm’s San Francisco and Chicago offices respectively. In addition, Nicole Everett has been appointed to the firm’s Board of Directors. This group’s leadership, dedication, and impact on both clients and colleagues has been instrumental to the firm’s continued success.

Iris Chan
Principal
During her nearly 18-year tenure with Huntsman, architect Iris Chan has become a trusted partner to many of the firm’s key clients from fast-paced technology companies to building owner/operators. Iris brings a rare combination of project management skills and technical depth, evidenced by her leadership across project delivery and QA processes. In co-managing the firm’s San Francisco Studio, Iris plays a vital role in mentoring colleagues and supporting new business development.


Karie Vagedes
Principal
Karie has been an integral part of Huntsman for over a decade, initially in San Francisco before co-leading the launch of the firm’s Chicago office in 2017. She is a respected voice in the Chicago design and construction community including professional and volunteer organizations. Karie’s ability to cultivate and grow business relationships, drive operational excellence, and champion her colleagues reflects her deep commitment to Huntsman’s values.
Nicole Everett
Board of Directors
Principal, Nicole Everett has long demonstrated the judgement, prudence, and temperament essential for this important stewardship role. As a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, she will help guide decisions that shape the future of the firm, including strategies related to practice, operations, financial performance, and compliance.
