Senior Vice President / CFO
As a member of the Board of Directors, Susan leads the firm’s financial management, overseeing long-range business planning, accounting, banking, and legal relationships. She has been instrumental in directing strategic and tactical processes related to project performance, market analysis, and corporate governance.
Susan has spent decades with her architect and builder-husband, demolishing, designing and rebuilding their house and garden. Travel to Europe is perpetually in search of the art and architecture preserved there from the periods of the Aesthetic Movement through early Art Deco. The house has become receptive to its fate and after every trip will inevitably be invested with some small reference to the grander beauty revealed during these travels.
In addition to the collections of porcelain, glass and decorative tiles that have grown from travels and from the study of these same periods, photos of unforgettable buildings hang on the walls of the extant house, and the most beautiful are of Otto Wagner's Steinhof Church and of Adolf Loos' Goldman and Salatsch Bank.
