When intelligent automation technology firm IPsoft expanded onto the 11th floor at 17 State Street in New York, the company needed a creative partner who understood IPsoft’s goals of a workspace that encourages collaboration to drive innovation, while taking advantage of the space’s abundant daylight and impressive views towards the New York Harbor. The design solution solves this challenge by placing open benching workstations at the building’s perimeter. A choice of huddle spaces, open collaboration areas, and conference rooms provide alternate work environments and are highly flexible, each accommodating multiple uses and configurations. A concierge style reception area connects directly to a central café and lounge which forms the hub of the office. From here, a new stair links IPsoft’s staff across three floors, ensuring that employees feel connected to each other throughout the office.
