1000 Cherry
Following the success of earlier expansion efforts, this internet media company purchased a three-story building to further extend its San Bruno corporate campus. The new facility communicates the company’s cutting-edge brand through a series of themed environments honoring innovators and cultural icons throughout history.

In the reception area, a wall of digital screens including cell phones, tablets, and LED televisions conveys the multimodal enjoyment of content by consumers. Campus amenities include a gym, broadcast facilities, and VIP green rooms for visiting actors and producers. The David Bowie themed Hunger Café, highlights the famed singer’s constant reinvention using images and video projected via light-emitting mesh screens. Other innovators including Andy Warhol, Coco Chanel, and architect Frank-Lloyd Wright provide thematic inspiration on upper floors.
