About this Role We are looking for an experienced Communications and Content Manager to lead our communication strategy, guide and develop content, and manage brand collateral. In this role, you will be the voice of the firm ensuring brand-consistent language is infused in all storytelling. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will work with Principals and senior staff to co-create thought pieces, tell project stories, and celebrate our people and values for publication in trade/general publications and other channels. You will craft engaging stories ranging from professional practice, to industry trends and innovations in design, to advisory pieces for landlords or tenants. Candidates who thrive in creative environments, have excellent communication skills, and are familiar with architecture and design will be successful in this role.

Responsibilites
- Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's brand, including white papers, announcements, website copy, proposal responses, interview content, and more
- Develop and manage a PR / Communications calendar, create press releases and manage media inquiries
- Create industry conference calendar, plan, and prepare staff for speaking engagement
- Oversee and manage project photography ensuring strong visual narratives
- Manage the development and execution of project narratives, awards entries, articles, or blogs in collaboration with senior staff
- Update and manage the website
- Identify opportunities for speaking engagements and partner with senior staff to develop and write abstracts and prepare speakers for engagements
- Maintain our CRM and external A/E/C databases
- Support new business development efforts through participation in events and supporting senior staff
- Handle all social media content including planning, writing, scheduling, and posting
- Manage brand assets and graphics
- Author and develop fresh and creative content that engages our existing client base
- Co-manage business development activities
Education Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related fields
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain the the style, tone, and voice of the organization
- Self-starter with proven experience in multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
- Working experience in social media content creation and management
- Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of changes
- Adobe Creative Suite experience, preferred
