Colliers International
To attract and retain talent, and to serve as a model of a modern workspace for their clients, this progressive real estate company needed their own workspace to be timeless and to reflect the technology-focused market they serve. The new office needed to “walk the talk”.
The new space signals a cultural change, shifting from individual to shared private offices and open office plan settings complete with height-adjustable desking and London-style phone booths that double as hoteling offices for visiting guests. Flexible technology was employed including state-of-the-art telecommunications, audio-visual, lighting, and wireless networking. With a retracting glass partitions and mobile tables, the conference room is flexibly used for either client meetings or all-hands events. Nearby, the Gather Café, a lunchroom and social space, plays a key role in shifting the company's conventional workplace culture. A fun and brightly-lit space, it reflects the personality of the staff, who also developed the café’s name and the graphic art that adorns the floor. |
