Project Managers handle a range of assignments in terms of scope and size, and daily responsibilities can vary a great deal. This includes maintaining a smooth workflow, encouraging an energetic and collaborative team atmosphere, and fostering creativity all while managing to the established schedule and budget. Only when the needs of the client, our partners, each project team member, and the project’s financial goals are met, can we achieve team-based success. What You Will Do

  • Partner (in-person and virtually) with the office's senior leadership - Principals, Designers, and Architects - to elevate and evolve the firm’s processes, procedures, and standards

  • Participate (in-person and virtually) in marketing and business development, including proposals, interviews, and PR efforts

  • Manage multiple projects of varying sizes simultaneously from initiation through construction completion

  • Participate during all phases of project delivery (availability to lead and/or participate in in-person meetings)

  • Prepare scope of work and scope of services narratives, fee proposals, additional service requests, project schedules, and subconsultant agreements

  • Review client contracts, agreements, and terms and conditions

  • Prepare requests for proposals for subconsultants, bid documents for general contractors and furniture dealers, and perform bid leveling

  • Review internal project accounting documents and partner with accounting department on draft project billing

  • Lead all aspects of daily team project management activities, including developing work plans, leading in-person weekly team meetings, and assigning and monitoring team tasks

  • Daily interface (in-person and virtually) with client, contractor, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies

  • Participate in the coordination of project documentation and provide quality assurance/quality control oversight

  • Participate in cost estimate review and overall design budget analysis and management

  • Participate in in-person project site visits

  • Mentor and train junior staff and identify development opportunities for all team members

Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ownership and accountability for project and firm-wide success, including profitability

  • Excellent people skills including inspirational and collaborative leadership

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based design process

  • Advanced understanding of corporate commercial real estate objectives

  • Knowledge and experience in all phases of interior design / architectural project delivery, including programming, space planning, and FF&E

  • Desire and initiative to mentor junior staff

  • Working knowledge of state and local building and fire codes related to interior environments, including accessibility is a must

  • Knowledge of construction documents is a must

  • Experience working in a Citrix environment is highly desired

  • Office 365, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills are a must

  • Autodesk Revit skills are highly desired

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) skills are highly desired

  • Experience with Mural collaboration platform is a must

  • Sustainable design experience, with a preference for hands-on LEED and/or WELL project participation

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture

  • 12+ years of experience managing interior design and/or architectural projects

  • Interior Design Certification and/or Architectural Licensure and LEED and/or WELL Accreditation strongly preferred

  • Candidates must have legal working status in the U.S. as Huntsman will not be sponsoring work visas at this time

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks

  • Compensation is based on relevant experience and qualifications. Salary for this role is estimated between $120,000 to $140,000 plus benefits
