About the Role
Huntsman’s marketing department is an integral part of the firm’s business operations across three U.S. offices, and plays a critical role in establishing, promoting, and growing the firm’s brand. The marketing team leads and supports business development, research, PR, and communications efforts in a fun and fast-paced environment. The marketing coordinator will bring a wide range of skills to the firm, including strong written and verbal communication skills, passion for design, and ability to collaborate with creative professionals. Candidates must be detail-oriented, committed to high standards, and thrive working in a creative, communal, and deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Gain comprehensive understanding of Huntsman’s portfolio of work, practice areas, and firm wide capabilities
Maintain marketing collateral for use in proposals, brochures, award and editorial submittals
Maintain project photography library & participate in shoot coordination
Support the Marketing Manager, Project Managers, and Executives to generate SOQs, proposals, interview presentations, and leave-behinds
Assist the Marketing Manager and PR Consultant with creating written content and graphics for marketing campaigns, promotions, digital communications, and collateral materials
Conduct client and opportunity research, as needed, in support of interviews and strategic marketing pursuit
Collaborates in pre-interview planning and presentation rehearsals with design teams and contributes to the development and implementation of the established win strategy in presentation materials
Maintain firm-wide contact and project database/CRM system
Ensure consistency in branding, format, and content, for pursuits and marketing communications
Update staff resumes and intranet bios
Administer social media accounts, coordinating the relevant messaging and graphics
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Bridge
Basic knowledge of marketing fundamentals and the A/E/C profession.
Ability to work on concurrent assignments, meet deadlines, and creatively problem-solve.
Experience in writing, copyediting, and graphic design.
Well-organized, extremely detail-oriented and a self-starter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and editing abilities.
Ability to handle proprietary and confidential information
Professional demeanor and able to present a positive, on-brand image of Huntsman
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in marketing, business administration, journalism, English, public relations, communications, or related competency
Minimum 2 to 5+ years of marketing experience in an architecture, interior design, or related studio environment
Additional Information
We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage. We also offer the opportunity to participate in pre-tax Flexible Spending plans for medical, childcare, and commuter expenses, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and 401k. Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000 depending on qualifications.
