San Francisco Florist & Gifts
Store Design and Branding
San Francisco, CA
By revealing the art of floral arrangements, a San Francisco flower shop involves
the customer in the creative process. The owners wanted something different
than the standard, cramped flower stands. They also required function to be
fashioned into unique, stylized elements. The main design concept, by Huntsman
was to move some of those interesting “back-of-the-house” operations into
plain sight. Two floral stations attract pedestrians attention, allowing customers
to watch the creative pros at work. The design was also developed to be modular
and economical. Simple materials assembled in basic ways allowed the owner
to act as general contractor and for millwork to be fabricated off site and
easily assembled on site.
