Java City
Store Design and Branding
Northern California
Java City, a cafe chain with headquarters in Sacramento, wanted to break away from the mold of coffee bars, so they turned to Huntsman Architectural Group to develop a new look which would serve as the prototype for a chain-wide roll-out. Huntsman created a light and airy aesthetic that contrasts with the dark look of competing stores. Blond woods, aluminum finishes and solid-surfaces form a clean, enduring interior. The design team used consistent murals, materials and display systems to support the company’s new brand identity.
