Collaborate
Advertising and Media Agency Office
San Francisco, CA
Setting itself apart from other agencies that divide into departments based on the services they provide, Collaborate created an organizational model to work with its clients to develop a single brand message applicable to the industry’s ever-changing media. With its relocation to 201 Post Street, the agency had the opportunity to apply its own brand identity to its new offices and hired Huntsman Architectural Group to design the space. Private offices open up to the production studio with Jalousie windows, to create the collaborative work environment the firm desired. A conference room doubles as a screening room for digital media and video presentations to clients. The library and reading room are anchored by a break room at the end of the suite. Preserving many of the building’s features such as the exposed brick walls, the design team juxtaposed contemporary elements with the historic fabric. Polished concrete floors reflect the illuminating stretched gauze sails which create a sculptural wall effect.
