Intershop Communications
Office Design, Branding and Rollout
San Francisco, CA
New York, NY
Huntsman developed a corporate identity for this German software company while designing the company’s first US offices. The design team worked with Intershop in shaping an office environment appropriate to its needs and in translating the client’s identity into physical terms. Furniture and lighting standards, developed in the San Francisco office, became a prototype for Intershop’s international rollout for offices in Tokyo, London, Manhattan and its corporate headquarters in Jena, Germany. An innovative design feature is the series of “light boxes” that were created to simplify navigation around the new offices for guests and out-of-town employees, by indicating various zones or areas.
