Huntsman assisted the interactive television company to locate and build a new production studio and headquarters. After preparing feasibility studies and due diligence studies, Huntsman determined a former public television facility would offer the most flexibility with minimal structural improvements. Huntsman led a multi-disciplinary team of engineers for a seismic retrofit with structural, mechanical, electrical, acoustical and lighting upgrades.

Working with several departments, executives and the entire staff of TechTV in interactive workshops, our architects developed space plans to accommodate the program requirements for a staff of 200. The new spaces were designed to house a live news studio, taped segment studio and tech, production and editing support. Huntsman was instrumental in phasing the permits and construction and in the selection of the general contractor.
