Huntsman's San Francisco office has hired Charles Uehrke, IIDA, as project director and senior designer, announced the firm's managing principal and president, Daniel Huntsman. "We are thrilled to have somebody with Charles's depth of experience join Huntsman," comments Huntsman. "We think that he will help us maintain our edge in these difficult times." Uehrke brings with him more than 30 years of experience in interior architecture, including the design and planning of corporate office and campus facilities, technology and operations centers, and offices for global law firms and financial institutions. Prior to joining Huntsman, Uehrke was a principal, design director, and team leader for Interior Architects, working with clients such as VISA, Siebel Systems, Accenture, DLA Piper, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, Chevron, and Safeway. His work has been featured in Interior Design, Progressive Architect, Architectural Record, Interiors, Contract, and the Registry. He recently served as president of the International Interior Design Association, Northern California Chapter.
