Aquent is the world's leading marketing, web, and creative staffing agency. When relocating its San Francisco office, the firm retained Huntsman to plan and design its offices to reflect one of its prominent consulting services: brand management and planning. With 72 offices worldwide, Aquent has an established brand identity that dictates the design development for new facilities. However, with the move into an older office building, the standards needed to be modified to accommodate for configurational issues such as close column-grid spacing. Huntsman's design team planned for open workstations to occupy the floorplan's only expansive area with regular column spacing. In order to incorporate Aquent's branding wall into the space, the designer extended a 24-foot wall covering from the reception and lobby into the main conference room with use of glass partitions, utilizing transparency to make smaller spaces appear limitless. Areas for interview assessment are clustered around meeting rooms and the lobby and are divided by moveable partitions that allow for greater flexibility for workspace.
